Paula: You look upset, Laura. What's the matter?
Laura: Nothing. I don't want to talk about it.
Paula: Come on. What's up?
Laura:Well, I've just got this nasty text message from a guy in my class. What should I do, Paula?
Paula: WEll, whatever you do, don't reply. That's for sure.
Laura: Right.
Paula: And I think you should show it to your teacher.
Laura: Are you sure?
Paula: Yes, definitely. Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be OK.
Laura: Yes, you're right. Thanks, Paula.

Laura: Hey, Paula! I haven't seen you for a while.
Paula: Hi, Laura
Laura: You look happy.
Paula: Oh, yes, I've just auditioned for a band.
Laura: Really? Tell me about it. What happened?
Paula:Well, it was really good. There were five or six other people there, but I think that they killed me best.
Laura: That's good news. I'm glad to hear it. I hope it works out well for you.
Paula: We'll see. What about you? How have you been?
Laura: OK. No news, really. So, maybe see you soon on TV!
Paula: Yes maybe! See you around.
Laura: Bye, Paula. Good luck.

Laura: Paula! What's going on?

Paula: What's the matter? What have I done?

Laura: Look at the time. Have you been up all night?

Paula: Sorry, Laura. I didn't mean to. I didn't  realize that is was morning.

Laura: Paula, you know I don't like it when you spend so much time on the internet.

Paula: Well, it hasn't happened before.

Laura: Paula! It's the third time taht you've spent all night online!

Paula: Ok. Listen, I'm really sorry. Don't worry. It won't happen again, I promise.

Laura: I hope you're right. We'll see.

Paula: A barbecue was a great idea, Laura.

Laura: Yes, thanks. I'm looking forward to it.

Paula: Have we got everything?

Laura: Well, we've got enough food, but here isn't mucho to drink

Paula: shall I get a few cartons of juice or something? Tehre's a shop near here.

Laura: Hould you mind?

Paula: No, that's fine.

Laura: Thanks, Paula. Could you get a bag of ice too? And we need a bag for the rubbish.

Paula: Ok, no problem. I'l see what they've got.

Paula: Hi, Caitlin. Did you go out last night?

Laura: No, I stayed in and watched TV.

Paula: Oh? What was on?

Laura: That new talent show on Channel 5.

Paula: Oh, yes? Whas it any good?

Laura: Yes, it was brilliant. There was an amazing singer on it. Didn't you see it?

Paula: No, I missed it. I was playing football.

Laura: You should try to watch it next time. It's really good.

Paula: Ok then, I will.

Paula: Oh, hi, Lucy. Who's that girl over there?

Laura: The girl with the long hair?

Paula: No, the girl with the blue jeans. She's talking  on the phone.

Laura: Oh, yes. What about her?

Paula: Does she go to our school?

Laura: Yes,  that's Jordi Magin. She's in Year 11. Why?

Paula: She looks nice. She's got a friendly face.

Laura: She's OK, but you aren't her type, Paula. She likes tall guys!

Paula: Oh, that's a pity. Never mind.
